USESOM Wins AMSA Local Project Grant Money

The grant committee of the US American Medical Student Association convened recently to review grant proposals for the 2007-2008 academic year.  The committee received an impressive number of applications this cycle and has awarded the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine AMSA club the maximum award of $400 and an additional $240 for local service projects.  On Sint Eustatius, second year medical Student Bryan Farley is serving as the club's president under the faculty supervision of Dr. Lori Trout. AMSA will use the money to purchase supplies for the Sint Eustatius Diabetes Foundation health fair and other local projects.
