To All Current And Future USESOM Students -
As of October 10, 2010, the Constitution and status of the island of Sint Eustatius was changed from the Netherland Antilles to a province of the Netherlands. With this change of status, the required immigration documents have also changed. With this being said, please see below for the additional mandated requirements necessary for your temporary immigration to the island of Sint Eustatius.
- Bank Statement – In order to demonstrate financial means, all students are required to provide a bank statement showing a balance of no less than $6,708.00 US, or a letter from a parent/guardian that guarantees a minimum of $559.00 US per month for 12 months will available for living expenses while on island.
- Island Immigration Fee – The Sint Eustatius Immigration Department Fee of $373.00 US is required for the processing of all immigration paperwork on island. This fee is to be paid directly to the University in conjunction with your tuition prior to arriving on Sint Eustatius.
